C1 is choosing the room. Pois agrees without adding. Pronto closes. A gente (with third-person verb) is spoken and not wrong. Terá dito is the news, not your mouth at dinner. Há quem diga quotes. Mixing them is how you sound like the radio in the kitchen instead of a textbook.

  Right. Alright. We'll leave it there.

• A gente vê isso amanhã.

  We'll look at that tomorrow. (spoken)

  The minister is said to have said there is no climb-down.
